Atomspheres is a series of workshops and performances created as part of Tselinny Center’s participation in Listening Biennial 2025. The project invites people to slow down and listen to sounds of nature, of each other, and of the world around us. Through breathing and listening exercises, participants learn to tune into subtle details and connect more deeply with their environment. These workshops lead into performances that weave together recordings of wind, water, and woods with live instruments, electronics, and even data from the climate itself. Inspired by traditions of collective music-making across cultures, Atomspheres creates a space where audiences and participants share in attentive listening, reflection, and togetherness. In times of ecological and social change, the project offers listening as a way to find new forms of connection and care.
