This workshop explores text as a physical space in which new meanings can be uncovered. Using blackout poetry and erasure techniques, participants will excavate personal narratives hidden within articles and essays. Through layers of ink, texture, and collage, the “erased” text will be transformed into visual poetry in the form of a zine.
