On April 28, Tselinny will host an inclusive music workshop with Pete Sparkes for children and adults with special needs.

This is a practice-based session designed for a small group of up to 8 participants. The format makes it possible to give attention to each person and to shape the session with individual physical and cognitive needs in mind.

The workshop is built around collective music-making using iPads, sensory and switch devices, as well as other accessible musical instruments. Participants will work with digital applications that make it possible to join the process without prior musical training or experience. The session is designed around the idea of creating a shared musical result, where each participant contributes to the group process.

Each session will last 40–45 minutes. Two sessions will take place during the day: at 11:00 am and 12:00 pm.

The workshop will be led by Pete Sparkes. The language of the session is English with Russian interpretation. The workshop will take place on April 28 at 59 Masanchi Street, Almaty, Tselinny, Atelier educational space on the second floor of the center. Free admission. Registration link.
