Tselinny Temporary will host a lecture by Alla Mitrofanova titled “Introduction to Feminist Philosophy.” The lecture will meet participants with the key principles of the feminist theory and give understanding of the development of feminist approaches, as well as the debates and politics surrounding cultural canons through the lens of art. It will also explore current feminist theoretical and aesthetic strategies and methodologies.

Alla Mitrofanova is a philosopher, cultural theorist, and cyberfeminist based in St. Petersburg. She is the curator of the Philosophy Café at the Sound Museum in St. Petersburg and one of the founders of the Cyberfeminist International. Her works were published in Media Philosophy (St. Petersburg), Media Archaeology (Cologne), and in journals such as n.paradoxa (London) and Gender Studies (Kharkiv).
