Little Pigeon’s Light

The gray pigeon and his comrade Serge decided to spend the winter in the Kazakhfilm pavilion. Fortunately, they were not chased away, and they knocked together a Christmas tree from whatever they could find and put together a concert with those they met along the way. The hardships and joys of pigeon life, unrecognized artists, and a stage made of straw bales—such is this New Year's show.
The performance “Little Pigeon's Light” is a bright and unusual cultural event for the Kazakhstani art scene, combining a children's feast and the theater of the absurd. And its documentation is a good reason to return to bright DIY costumes, a simple and kind story about friendship, and absurd but human humor.
