29.01.2026
Lecture
Tselinny

Curator of the exhibition Union of Artists, Vladislav Sludsky, proposes to look at artistic partnerships as a distinct mode of art production—one in which intimacy, tension, and conflict become integral to the artistic method.
The lecture focuses on well-known artistic unions from different periods and contexts, including Jeanne-Claude and Christo, Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner, Gerhard Richter and Isa Genzken, Yves and Adèle, Ana Mendieta and Carl Andre, among others. The discussion will address questions of co-authorship, visibility and invisibility within artistic pairs, as well as gendered and institutional inequalities.
