Horizon is the online anthology of the Tselinny Center of Contemporary Culture, dedicated to the art, history, and theory of Central Asia. It brings together scholarly articles, critical essays, interviews, and multimedia projects by artists, researchers, curators, and members of the academic community.

Each issue focuses on a distinct theme, offering new perspectives on contemporary cultural and social processes through a range of research approaches.

Gaps and Ellipses: What Does Contemporaneity Mean? explores the notion of contemporaneity by examining the "blind spots" in the history of Central Asian art and proposing alternative ways of reading established narratives.

ALASTAU: On the Supernatural, Shamanism, and the Politics of the Sacred investigates the resurgence of the sacred and shamanic practices in the region's contemporary art and culture.

Truth and Fiction addresses questions of representation, memory, and the construction of reality in the age of globalization, late capitalism, and informational uncertainty.

During the presentation, Arseniy Aksenov, Managing Editor of Horizon, will discuss how the anthology is conceived and produced, why it exists as a digital publication, the themes explored across its issues, and the editorial process behind each edition. The event will also provide an opportunity to exchange ideas about future issues with readers and prospective contributors.
