Approaches to acoustic-electronic integration

23.06.2026-24.06.2026
Workshop
Tselinny

This two-day workshop explores hybrid sound practices, combining acoustic instruments with electronic processes and real-time transformation.

The first day will be dedicated to presentation and discussion. Cinna Peyghamy will introduce his artistic practice, demonstrate his setup, and share examples of his work. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss their own approaches to sound and music-making.

The second day will focus on practice. Participants are invited to bring their own instrument or sound object and experiment with combining it with electronic tools. The session will explore improvisation, listening, and interaction between different sound sources.

No prior experience is required. Participants are kindly asked to bring an instrument or any object capable of producing sound for the second session.

Cinna Peyghamy is a Paris-based French-Iranian percussionist, composer, and sound artist. His practice focuses on improvisation and the interaction between acoustic and electronic sound. Working with custom-built instruments and modular systems, he explores real-time transformation of sound, often combining traditional percussion, such as the tombak, with experimental electronic processes.
