Synopsis:

Over three years, director Jean-Stéphane Bron observes the reconstruction of Paris's legendary Paramount Theatre and its transformation into the Pathé Palace, designed by Renzo Piano. Behind the individual decisions, disputes and everyday labour, a question emerges: what does the cinema of the future look like, and for which audience is it being built?
