Font Creation

The course Font Creation is about learning to see letters in the most unexpected places and transforming them into an original typeface. Instead of standard tools, we will use everyday objects: orange peels, wire, burnt matches, shadows, or anything else imagination suggests.
Under the guidance of experienced designers, participants will explore the basics of type design through experimentation and play with materials. We will begin with collective brainstorming and mind mapping, after which each participant will choose their own concept and materials, create a prototype, refine it, and present it at the final session.
Course outcome: a completed font project based on a unique idea and chosen technique.
