Open Workshop: Imagining a Fairy Tale

We continue the inclusive workshop series Imagining a Fairytale. This time, the program includes two sessions for children of different age groups.
Imagining a Fairytale is a series of interactive workshops where children experience stories through creativity, sensory exploration, and collaborative activities. Through play, collage, drawing, and simple art exercises, participants develop imagination, communication skills, and emotional expression.
The program is open to all children, including children with special needs, such as autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy. It is important to us that each session feels clear, calm, and accessible, and that every participant can engage in the process at their own pace.
On June 7 at 11:00 AM, the Imagining a Fairytale workshop for children aged 4–8 will take place. The session focuses on discovering a fairytale through active listening, touch, and collaborative art-making. Children will listen to a story, work with visual imagery, and create a collective composition together with the group.
On June 14 at 11:00 AM, the Comics workshop for children aged 9–12 will take place. Participants will invent their own characters and turn their stories into short comics. This workshop will help children explore the idea of their inner superpower, build confidence, and express themselves through a character.
The workshops will be led by Olga Brizhatyuk, speech therapist and educator.
Both sessions are free of charge for all participants with prior registration. The workshops will take place at 59 Masanchi Street, Tselinny, Atelier educational space on the second floor of the center.
